Castleberry Strawberry Festival is a non-profit organization that supports the community by giving back. The Governor of Alabama declared Castleberry Strawberry Capital of Alabama in 1987. Each year, the small community of 600 celebrates this honor by having a festival in downtown Castleberry. Over 30 years! The annual arts and crafts festival is typically held on the 3rd Saturday in April in downtown Castleberry. No admission charged to the community to attend.
